Today, ctrl+alt+reclaim - Europe’s first youth-led tech justice and digital rights movement - alongside People vs Big Tech are launching Power Shift: Young voices reshaping the digital world, a new report profiling a rising generation of young activists around Europe fighting back against the impact online harms are having on their lives.

The report features testimonies from young activists across Europe with a bold agenda for change:

- Guarantee youth participation in digital policymaking
- Mandate safety-by-design and fairness-by-design standards
- Challenge Big Tech’s dominance and invest in European alternatives

Despite being disproportionately affected by social media and digital technologies, young people hold few seats in policy discussions. At a time of pivotal legislation and debates on young people's digital rights, youth voices are absent from the table. If our digital future is being shaped without us, how can it truly serve us?

Our movement has contributed to the EU Digital Services Act and Digital Fairness Act, and actively tracks discussions on young people’s online safety and rights in Europe.
